The Experience
As a resident of Terraza Puerto, you will welcome guests to the city of Puerto Escondido and the hostel, taking care of it as if it is your own home, which it will also be. That includes being a great host, helping us keep it clean and keeping the vivid atmosphere alive. You will host a weekly activity to connect with the guests, to have fun, to exlore what the city and the surrounding nature offer.

Fue una experiencia enriquecedora. El trabajo es fácil, y si te organizas con los otros voluntarios, no es un problema intercambiar turnos. Las horas de trabajo y las actividades son muy fáciles así que es mejor llegar al lugar pensando que tendrás mucho tiempo libre para trabajar, leer o hacer lo que tu quieras. El hostal está en pleno centro entonces tienes muchas facilidades de transporte.

El trabajo dentro del hostal es muy sencillo y me daba chance de hacer mi trabajo remoto. Lo mejor para mi fue la gente que conocí en el camino, un ambiente muy chill. Es importante considerar que no queda tan cerca de la playa 20 min caminando, en lo personal una vez que estuve ahí me di cuenta que si me gustaría algo más cercano a la playa. Las ventajas del centro es que la comida es más barata y que podrás tener una verdadera experiencia local, fuera de la zona mainstream turística.
