The experience

As a resident of Terraza Puerto, you will welcome guests to the city of Puerto Escondido and the hostel, taking care of it as if it is your own home, which it will also be. That includes being a great host, helping us keep it clean and keeping the vivid atmosphere alive. You will host a weekly activity to connect with the guests, to have fun, to exlore what the city and the surrounding nature offer.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Our mission is to inspire authentic and meaningful connections fostered by the activities hosted by the hostel and the encounters between extraordinary human beings, the residents and the travelers.

The Requirements
• English at conversational level
• Available all days of the week, as a new schedule is sent every week.
• Minimum commitments during your stay e.g. part-time job, full-time study
• Available for a minimum of 4 weeks
• You want to learn and develop yourself as a human being
