Volunteering at the hotel was good experience! It's ideal for someone who wants to chill/relax by the beach. Everyone is quite welcoming and it's a relaxed atmosphere. Jobs/tasks are easy to do. Wouldn't recommend if you like partying.

Waking up next to the beach was wonderful. The initial days started off a little different than what was discussed but tasks were quickly allocated based on what I could bring to the table, and I even got the chance to help paint and decorate! During free time, I got to swim with plankton, snorkel, and even try out the sub wing. I had trouble sleeping during windy nights, and since there's no screens we would often wake up to mosquitos and little flies that bit hard, but that's really all part of the coastal living experience. Bring bug spray, some books and be ready to deconnect

I had a good time at the hotel! I've been there during low season and helped mostly in the kitchen and with cleaning. The tasks were easy and I got used to it quickly. At first, I didn't have a schedule and helped depending on the day when help was needed. That was fine because sometimes I had to work more hours and therefore barely on other days. The team was great and especially Sol and Luis made sure, that I had a good time. The island itself is really beautiful and calm, so if you wanna have a break from the busy city life, it's a great place to be.

Your kindness is remarkable, and we’re confident it will leave a lasting impact wherever you go. Thank you again, and remember, this will always be your home.

COOL PLACE, NOT SUITABLE FOR VOLUNTEERS. The team at the kitchen is great and they took me on cool tours and activities. Yet, the employees at the hostel are overworking, and they expect you to work more than the hours agreed on the platform (or the legal working hours in the country). Also, volunteers don't have a specific place to stay, they sleep in the same beds as guests. Meaning that you have to move every time someone books a bed. One night I had to sleep in the same bed as the chef and her dog.
