Volunteering with the turtles is a wonderful experience and rewarding to be able to volunteer on a project that helps to protect these majestic creatures. It's fun, rewarding and a great new experience as well as an opportunity to be in a beautiful place at the same time. I would advise being fit to be able to do the job properly as you need to da lot of walking on soft sand. You also need to work at night as this is when the turtles come ashore to nest so be prepared to sleep during the day and work at night. You'll have the opportunity of meeting new people and practising/learning Spanish.
