I am super grateful to be apart of this wonderful experience with a beautiful family. They were very kind and welcoming throughout the entire time. The work was fun and you can learn a lot about farming. The work consist of packaging different crops such as potatoes, carrots, broccoli, kale and more. The environment is filled with peace and a beautiful scenery of nature. When I wasn't working I would go on hikes and walks along the flowing river as there is so much greenery, I appreciate miss Blancas dedication to the land and her hard work. Oswaldo is very supportive and communicative.

I had a fantastic week with Oswaldo, Blanca and Zoe. They welcomed me into their home and it was an amazing experience to learn about their day to day lives! I have a very basic level of Spanish so this was the perfect opportunity to practice and learn. Everyday I would try ask questions to the other volunteers and workers as I was the only native English speaker so it encouraged me to practice my Spanish. My duties included helping to wash the vegetables, pack/label and put them into baskets. To anyone thinking of applying for this experience. Drop me a message if you have any questions!
