The Experience
We are a small family-run hotel located in the village of Achill Sound, near to amenities and buses to Westport and Keel. We are looking for volunteers to help us with kitchen, restaurant, and housekeeping jobs.

Enjoyed my time in the hotel, it's a great place to be if you want a breather from the city. The hosts, Peter & Loretta looked after me very well during my time there - provided me with my own room, fed me delicious meals every night and took me out on a drive to see Achill Island. Just be mindful about public transport in running to and from the hotel as it comes every 2 hours. Make sure to try a Guinness and a Baby Guinness here!

My experience here was really good. Peter and Loretta are really nice people, also all the staff of the Hotel. I had good time with them and thet let my know new places here in the island what's awesome. I recommend this place to da volunteer here. For sure you will have good and nice time here :)

Loretta and Peter and nice people with a small family run business. The town is quiet and the landscape is beautiful. I enjoyed my calm time on Achill Island very much. Meeting locals can be a hoot and I think it is an accurate picture of Irish culture. Thanks for all the things :)

Great place to go. Peter, Loretta and K are excellent people, they treat you as one more since the first day. I regret not having more time there. If you have the chance to go, without a doubt apply. I have improved my English and could speak with local people at the bar. it's a quiet place so if you want to go party, it's not your best option. the food is delicious. Furthermore, there are some beaches that are awesome.
