Sally and Erin were wonderful! I can't recommend this enough. My trip passed by so fast and I feel like I needed another three months, I'm absolutely looking forward to coming back at some point. The work was fair and never too much, though I spent my entire stay during the offseason so I'm not sure how it would be during the brunt of the tourist season. Being right next to the bus stop and the gas station was extremely convenient, and being close to a national park and the nature than Co. Donegal had to offer was an unbeatable experience. I'd absolutely tell you that this hostel is worth it.

Every moments with the hostel were simply magical. Erin and Sally do their upmost to make sure every volunteers are cared for and comfortable in their new environment. Fairness, clarity, kindness, respect, are values found in abundance at the hostel. The work is clear, fair and well defined, yet with flexibility to adapt to everyone's needs. The facilities are amazing, with a big kitchen and plenty of space, and the mountain and landscapes are incredibly beautiful. There is a local shop and a bus just a few steps from the hostel to take you exploring and shopping. Don't hesitate.

My stay at the hostel was truly amazing! 💙 From day one, Sally and Erin made me feel at home — they care for volunteers as if we were part of their own family. They always make sure we have days off to explore, and whenever they can, they even take us to beautiful places a bit farther from the hostel. Their kindness and attention to detail made my experience unforgettable. The tasks are super easy and done in the mornings, so you get the whole afternoon free to enjoy, explore, or just relax. It's the perfect balance between helping out and having time for yourself.

Volunteering at the hostel was a wonderful experience. The surrounding nature is stunning and there's plenty to do nearby. Sometimes travelling without a car was a bit challenging, as buses could be late, but hitchhiking turned out to be fun and part of the adventure. The accommodation was comfortable and cozy, with a well equipped kitchen and lots of space to relax. The host was very kind and helpful, the working hours were always respected, and they answered all my questions clearly. I truly enjoyed my stay here.

I loved the experience! Erin and Sally are very sweet and always there for you. There's also a great atmosphere with the rest of the team and the other volunteers. The tasks are easy, and you have the afternoons and two full days off to explore the area. The place is surrounded by mountains and lakes, and the Irish culture is very present. I'd love to come back soon!
