Description
We ask for a daily contribution of €8 to help cover food and accommodation. In return, we make sure there’s also time for fun and relaxation—like visiting a nearby waterfall or exploring a charming village.

The Experience
Welcome in the Spanish hills. We’re shaping our land and home step by step—renovating, building, and creating spaces to enjoy. There’s plenty to do, from carpentry and construction to gardening and creative projects. If you’re skilled, there’s room to put your craftsmanship to good use. There’s also space to grow by doing. What matters most is the energy you bring: a hands-on attitude, curiosity, and the drive to help build something lasting.

I had my first volunteering program with John & Odie, and they provided the best experience I could have imagined. I stayed for one month with my girlfriend, and it was truly unforgettable. The tasks were easy to handle, fun, and always well-organized. We felt welcomed from the very first day, and it didn't take long to feel at home. I met amazing people that I'll never forget, and the atmosphere was always positive and supportive. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure, great company and meaningful memories!

This month of volunteering at Odie and Johns was so much fun, they are one of the most welcoming people I know! I met so many kind people there apart from John, Odie and the boys that I am never going to forget. The tasks were easy to handle and they always included us in the planning. Almost every afternoon and night we would do something together like cooking, going to a nice swimming spot, playing games or just chilling all together! They set my bar so high, no other volunteering experience could beat that! Thank you sooo much for this month at your place, it was truly incredible!

Could not have had a better experience, my first time volunteering and will definitely be hard to beat! John and Odie are two of the most kind hearted funny people I've ever met so welcoming and fun to be around. They made sanding and painting walls unbelievably fun and their home felt like mine also for a short time! Thank you to Ron, Kim, Matty, the boys and John and Odie for an amazing month will hopefully see you all again soon !

My stay was short for personal reasons, but I can say that the days I was there were incredible, I enjoyed everything a lot, John and Odi are the best hosts, super friendly and attentive at all times, and my volunteer colleagues made being with them a home away from home, thank you for everything ❤️

I would like to express my gratitude to John and Odilia for providing an incredible experience. I learned a lot and had a fantastic time. Unlike other volunteer programs, ours doesn't have a fixed schedule, and the routines are quite flexible. It was an honour for me to contribute to building this place called home alongside other lovely volunteers. We took turns cooking family style meals using fresh ingredients from the local farmers market. We go hiking to nearby waterfalls and explore the towns. Overall, this holistic journey has been so enriching that I would definitely do it again.
