The Experience

We are looking for someone who may want to stay long term and could convert to a paid position. This position would compliment the local management with a focus on improving and maintaining the hospitality and guest experience. Daily tasks would be to inpsect the cleanliness and maintenance of the property and direct the volunteers to ensure all guests reservations and communications are upkept. Must know Cloudbeds/Canva/Google/Social Media.

The experience at the hotel was great! Super friendly staff, a couple of other volunteers and many places to hangout and relax in the hotel - including a pool and surfskate, breakfast included. Ah, and AC in the dorm! :) Although the hotel has seen it's better days and the fact that mostly there were just a few guests, you certainly learn about guest-relations, check-ins and can practice your Spanish skills. There is a chill vibe at the hotel and you will also have plenty of time to explore the village, surf or play beachvolleyball with people from other hostels.

I would like to thank everyone for their kindness, hospitality and trust. In Gigante is a beautiful hotel located in front of Gigante beach and just a few minutes from Playa Amarillo. The tasks are easy and there are many activities to do on your free day.

I had an amazing volunteer experience; my time in InGigante was great. The hotel is incredible—very comfortable with great breakfast. Everyone who works there is kind and attentive. The work is easygoing, but it's important to be committed. I had incredible experiences—the surf trip and the beaches here are beautiful. The town is quite small, with not much commerce, but the hotels organize activities, and you can go there to socialize. It feels like a small family, I loved it, me encantoooo! Thank you for all you guys, it was amazing!
