The hostel is a great place to volunteer in London!! Between official hostel events and hanging out with volunteers, there are always opportunities to explore the city. The receptionists and other volunteers are always willing to help you or just chat. The work is usually calm, and they stuck to the hours we talked about. If you miss cooking while traveling, the kitchen is big and they have dinner shifts which involve cooking for guests. The neighborhood is nice, but still close enough to feel like you're in the city. I'd definitely recommend the hostel to anyone looking to volunteer in London!

My time at the hostel was nothing short of incredible. Leah is a very friendly, funny and welcoming host and she, along with the other workers and volunteers, have created a fun and safe environment. The workload was light and we were afforded a good amount of free time to explore London. Every night at the hostel there were social events which made it easy to bring guests and volunteers together. The hostel is equipped with many common spaces that allowed me to cook, do life admin, and to relax with some Netflix. My experience was excellent overall and I would definitely recommend it!

I had an amazing month volunteering at the hostel and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From day one, I felt truly welcomed by the all staff (special mention t….all of you) and other volunteers, it really does feel like a home away from home. The atmosphere is social, fun, and well-organised, with activities that make it easy to meet people and create connections. The work is clear and manageable. (You got 3 days off each week) I would recommend volunteering here without hesitation. I'll be back !

For anyone wanting to find a second home away from your hometown: the hostel is the place to be. I spent the most fun and lively month in London. The kindness I found in the other volunteers and receptionists is unmatched and made the place feel like a family home ❤️ Working hours are completely reasonable and just as described. You learn how to keep a hostel clean and welcoming to travellers from all over the world. Thank you the hostel for the best club nights, free dinners and movie sessions. Life in Notting Hill has been a blast!
