Had a great time volunteering at the hostel the hostel Ost! The place is big and modern, with fair, respectful shifts. I did housekeeping and breakfast and always felt supported. Big thanks to Gaby and Lama for building such a great team and experience. Shoutout to Sherif for his patience, to Julia, Nadine, Philip and receptionists for vibes. Made awesome memories with my Worldpackers crew. A solid choice for structure, freedom, and international exchange in this EU central hub of Germany! I would definitely consider coming back :)

My time at the hostel couldn't have been better! I was lucky to volunteer with such great people, so we made lots of memories together. As for the hostel, the structure is excellent, the breakfast is very generous, every room has its own private bathroom, and regarding the volunteering, the working hours are respected, so you have plenty of free time to explore the hostel and other cities in the country. The work is easy and relaxed. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know this region of Germany better.

I really enjoyed my time in the hostel. The tasks were all fair and hours were same as agreed upon. The other volunteers there at the same time as me were really what made my time great. There's not a ton to do in the hostel, so having others to hang out with really makes a difference. And there are some nice cities a short train ride away that you can visit on your days off.
