The experience

We’re seeking volunteers to support our maintenance technician with tasks such as painting, repairs, and upkeep. If you're eager to learn, enjoy hands-on work, and have a positive attitude, this opportunity is for you! Join our team and help keep our hotel running smoothly. What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner German

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Activities & Shift

Daily Activities Checklist:
- Assist the technician with painting tasks to refresh spaces.
- Help with cleaning maintenance areas and tools.
- Support minor repairs, such as fixing furniture or simple installations.

Shifts:
We offer a flexible schedule regarding working days and hours, ensuring you have time to explore and enjoy your stay. Tasks will be organized based on daily needs and your availability.

Rules

**Volunteer Guidelines:**
We are a hostel and hotel with over 700 beds. We provide accommodation for work. Your free time can be arranged as you wish. We receive a lot of applicants; we answer emails once a week. If you need information about the location and the city, please inform yourself via the internet.
Keep your questions job-related.

1. **Police Report:**
All applicants are required to submit a valid police report as part of their application.
This is mandatory, and without it, volunteering cannot be approved.
