The Farm is the ideal place to kickstart your volunteering journey, especially if you're eager to connect with nature. It was my first volunteering experience, and it far exceeded my expectations. They offer delicious meals, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided, and you're welcome to cook for yourself in the kitchen if you prefer. The host, Prashanth, is exceptionally kind and accommodating, always going out of his way to ensure I felt at home. He even took me to some stunning viewpoints in the area, adding an unforgettable touch to my stay. I would highly recommend this to everyone.😊😊

Truly it was a heart filled experience in Kodaikanal farm and also at a farm in Tirumangalam Madurai which belongs to the Host Mr. Prashant. The work which i did was not a hard work. I was taking care of the cows and dogs and hens and Dows, then a little field work like watering and cleaning the place etc. I was feeling very happy to do all those simple works. The Host Mr. Prashant is an intelligent person and his father and mother and sister are very loving and kind hearted people towards the Volunteers. They provided me a very delicious food all the three times a day. 100 percent i recommend

I applied seeing Kodaikanal as the location with farm pictures. But just before arrival, the host sent me a Thirumangalam (Madurai) location, saying “We'll go to Kodaikanal in a few days". Unfortunately, that never happened. While I was eager to contribute, the host was not very welcoming, lacked clear communication, and didn't show much respect for volunteers. There were no proper working hours, guidance, or cultural exchange as expected. Only good thing was the food. I'd recommend future volunteers clarify all details beforehand to ensure a better experience.

Absolutely not recommended. Among 30+ volunteers, he was the worst. Disrespectful to fellow volunteers and the host, barely worked 2 hours in 3 days despite committing 20. Left abruptly without reason. Slept till 10–11 AM while others started by 7–8. Never joined group work, mistreated elder volunteers, and only focused on photos/videos, even demanding the host shoot for him. Completely unfit for volunteering. Avoid at all costs. We had 4 volunteers for a month being happily at the same time.

Prashant is a host at the beginning of his experience with volunteers, so he needs time and support to develop the project both on a work and human level. He is a very capable and kind, and having the opportunity to spend time with him in a friendly and open way was nice. The living facilities could use some improvements. There is always work to do, with the possibility of managing it independently. Thank you, working there gave us great satisfaction in completing the projects we started together.
