Join our vibrant initiative to revive native regional recipes and produce while experiencing the beauty of our farm in Kodaikanal. Our farm stay offers guests the chance to immerse themselves in sustainable farming practices and local culture.
What you offer
32 hours of help per week
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
1 day off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Permaculture Course:
Take part in our Permaculture course for free.
Use our equipped kitchen:

Program Details
1. Farm Assistance:
Participate in daily farming tasks such as planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting crops.
Help in maintaining and caring for our native vegetables, fruits, and overall food production.
2. Culinary Contributions:
Assist in preparing and cooking traditional regional recipes using fresh produce from our farm.
Share your own culinary skills and learn from our team about local dishes.
3. Landscape Development:
Get involved in designing and developing the farm landscape to enhance its beauty and productivity.
Work on building and maintaining A-frame farm stays for guests.
4. Cultural Engagement:
Participate in cultural activities and experiences with nearby villages to learn about local traditions and crafts.
Help organize and join in local festivals and events to promote cultural exchange.
5. Community Involvement:
Collaborate with our team and other volunteers to create a supportive and collaborative environment.
Engage in educational workshops and programs that promote sustainable living and farming practices.
6. Maintenance and General Tasks:
Assist with general maintenance tasks around the farm, including cleaning and repairing facilities.
Help with any ad-hoc tasks that arise to ensure the smooth operation of the farm and guest accommodations.
