I had a great time in the hostel. Volunteers get a private room and bathroom, working hours are respected, and you have one flexible day off per week with enough time to explore the city. The beds are comfortable with sliding doors, and the location is excellent. The guests were social, and Fumi and the team organized both a Christmas and a New Year's party. I'm grateful for this experience and would definitely recommend this place. Thanks for everything and for all the amazing people I met! 🫂

For our third experience volunteering in Japan it was everything we expected. The managers were really nice and very flexible with our planning and the work was great! The location of the hostel was good for visiting every areas of the hostel and very close to the temple and the supermarket. We are very grateful to have helped in this the hostel it felt very homely. We would love to come back and stay here again someday.

Where should I start? This has been my first volunteer to experience ever, and I enjoyed it since day one. The other volunteers where super nice and I've found that I already miss them. The manager Fumi, even if sometimes you might seen him confused, he truly worries about the team and that's really appreciated. The task were easy and can be done in way less than 3 hours in general, only mind that there is a night shift (Not all night, just some task to do at night, but less than an hour). I've felt really comfortable with the team and staff, I'll visit them back ♥️

My stay was shortened due to own medical complications but I absolutely loved the time I spent here! The staff room as well as all the common areas are so nice! Work was easy and fun with the whole staff team. The location is perfect, close to supermarkets, a train station and tourist attractions. If you want to visit the hostel I 100% recommend Guesthouse the hostel!

I apply for 1 months but I definitely should apply for more, I really loved this place for many reason. The people (manager and volunteers), the location (good access from the station, the supermarket, and beautiful temple) and finally the work hours (You have to work 6 days a week, with sometimes shift at night, but in general you work between 2 and 3h per day). Thank you for having me 🥰
