The Experience

There is a lot of green on our website and we are looking for people that want to take care of that. People that love to take care of the grass, the flowers, the plants and the trees. Take care that they get water when it is dry, take away the weeds so they can flourish, mow the grass when it gets too long. In short; people that love all the green around us.. Important: We are looking for people that can stay for at least one month..

I had a good experience volunteering at the camping. The schedule was respected (4 workdays, 3 days off), which gave me time to explore the city and also enjoy the nature around. The place is perfect if you like being in a natural environment but still close to Amsterdam. The vibe was super relaxed, and the team was easy to get along with. Arnoud is open to talk if you have any issues, so communication felt easy. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a chill experience a bit outside the city. :)

It's a great experience if you enjoy camping and socializing with people from different places. For me, it was a positive experience, especially in the area of repair and maintenance, working alongside Peter — the tasks were just what I expected. All the other volunteers were very kind to me, and I really enjoyed the experience. That said, I think it's important to be self-directed and proactive; otherwise, the sudden changes and lack of detailed planning might be frustrating. Overall, I do recommend the experience, though I understand it might not be for everyone.

I would recommend the camping to volunteer during the summer, just to avoid the low temperatures and cloudy days. The staff and the whole team of volunteers were amazing, super nice and friendly people. The campsite wasn't completely finished in the first month, so we had a lot of work in different areas and managing our own working hours. In the end they were respected and Arnoud was really flexible with the schedule.

I had a very nice experience at the camping. I've met amazing people with whom I made great memories with. The deal with food was very fair. Atmosphere around the campsite is cozy, and the toilet units are good. The only thing I had a little problem with was no schedule, so it was quite hard to plan upcoming days for museums and other activities. Nice thing was that Arnoud was always flexible to adjust it if we needed to do so. Overall, I will really miss this place

I stayed at the camping with my friend for 6 weeks and had overall a very nice time. At first I was a bit sceptic, because we didn't exactly have any schedule and were the first ones to arrive, but after few days spent with other volunteers I felt truly like at home. The tasks were okay- first we were mostly doing cleaning and reception, later also gardening and general maintenance. Although I think there are some things to improve, I must say that it was an amazing experience for meeting international travellers, who I believe I made a long-lasting friendship with:)
