The Experience

Hey, I’m Stella! I manage three hostels in the heart of South Korea, and we’re looking for responsible, self-motivated volunteers to join us. The first two hostels are just 1 minute apart, and you’ll help at both! 🌍 You’ll work 4 hours a day (11 AM - 3 PM), 5 days a week, with 2 days off. Tasks, which typically take 3 hours, include cleaning rooms, maintaining shared spaces and assisting guests. 🧹🧑‍🤝‍🧑

This was my second time at the guest house and again it was perfect. John and Stella always welcome volunteers warmly and make sure everyone is comfortable. Chatting with them and the other workers gives you the opportunity to learn some Korean and discover the local culture. The work is well explained and organized, and as per the agreement, you have two days off a week. A new addition is the small but cozy apartment dedicated to volunteers. It's a small, three-room apartment (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom) just a few minutes from the guesthouse. It was nice to have a place of your own. See you again~

I had an amazing time and was very sad to leave. Stella and the others are really kind and make you feel welcome and cared for. The other volunteers were really nice aswell, we quicly became good friends. The work hours and tasks are very decent. And the location of the volunteers house is close to the 2 work location, myeongdong shopping street and metro. The house is a bit small for 4 people, but you get used to it quickly. I wished I could have stayed longer, thank you for hosting me Stella and wish you all the best in the future❤️

I have been in this hostel for a month but this was such a lovely experience! The work is pretty simple and easy, you just have to clean a few rooms and do some additional tasks that are also simple. The house is really small but I was amazed how convenient it is, there was literally everything you need for survival so you don't have to spend much money. Also I loved the way managers took care of us, they explained our work in detail, always checked if we have everything we need, they were also super friendly and at least for me the most important thing - everything was perfectly organized!!!

I had the best time during my stay! The dorm/Apartment was comfortable and clean, the food was delicious, and the work was easy and enjoyable. Stella, John, and all the other staff were amazing—so friendly and welcoming. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
