I had a really good time here. Everyone was kind to me, and the work was easy. The onsen nearby was my favorite part. I got to practice my Japanese a lot and the mountains were beautiful. The only downside is that the hostel is a the guest house far from the town and you can't walk there. But overall a really nice experience. Thanks the guest house :)

What an amazing stay at the guest house! All the hosts Nao, Yuzuke and Leo were all very welcoming, helpful and easy to work with/for. The hostel itself was cosy, clean and had everything I needed/expected. The work and hours are super reasonable and I was never asked to do anything that didn't sit right with me or unsafe. The area around the hostel was beautiful and scenic. Not lots of things to do but with plenty of places to hike, the ski resort and the onsen all near by I was perfectly happy during the month I stayed there (March).

Staying at the guest house was one of the most fun experiences in my life. Everyone is very nice and super welcoming. The atmosphere is almost like in a small family. I was teached properly what to do and actualy had a lot of fun cleaning the Japanese stile rooms. I unlocked the new skill of making Futon beds. Because I could talk Japanese daily I definitely improved by a lot. Even though I coild barely say anything in Japanese when I came communication was no problem at all. Sometimes I had to work overtime but then other days where more relaxed.

I had an amazing month in the guest house during quiet season (May-Jun). The work was easy (just cleaning the hostel, which wasn't busy at that moment). A lot of free time to chill, medidate and hike around. Groceries are provided for you to cook your own food and the hostel structure is really good. Ryo, Yukina and Yamazaki are amazing hosts and they make you feel at home. Highly recommended for those who want to explore the guest house countryside next to mountains. There is a great onsen nearby (walking distance from the hostel).

The location is perfect to get in touch with nature and, being in a remote location is also less crowded than than metropolitan area, a good thing to find in the guest house. The hotel is well kept, warm and cozy. Everything works perfectly. And the staff is welcoming and very kind. The work itself is fair and perfectly doable. I would definitely go back again for another stay if I will have the chance!
