This experience was wonderful — I would recommend it 100%! Immersing yourself in a community with Khris and Jason is absolutely worth it. Amazing dinners, super fun conversations full of laughter, kind and respectful fellow volunteers, and the chance to meet incredibly fun locals. The people of Ireland are always warm and friendly. On top of that, you'll be helping to improve one of the most beautiful gardens I've ever seen and the Old House, which keeps looking better and better! It's an experience I carry deeply in my heart.

Khris and Jason were warm and welcoming hosts with a lovely home. The other volunteers were kind, thoughtful, and a joy to be around. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than planned due to allergies and the physical nature of the work. After a respectful conversation, we mutually agreed it was best for me to find a placement better suited to my health and skill set. Though my stay was short, I'm grateful for their kindness and understanding. Wishing them and future volunteers all the best.

Khris / Jason replied

Keyu, we are disappointed you could write a 4/5 star review of us at the outset then contradict your experience after reading our honest feedback of your time at Walworth. The other volunteers found you unwilling to participate, had difficulty in communicating with you as you constantly wore headphones with zero engagement which set an aloof tone with colleagues. They were always looking for you as you were absent for work on the few days you were here and everyone felt disconnected from you

My daughter and I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at the host house and the experience we had during our time there. First and foremost, Khris and Jason are amazing. We immediately felt like part of the family. They were committed to making everyone feel welcomed and valued. Khris shared so much history about not only the Manor property but also Ireland in General. The work assignments were as listed in the description and we felt as though our efforts were contributing to the revitalization of this beautiful property. We would love to return one day in the future.

My experience at the host House with hosts Khris and Jason was incredible. They welcomed me warmly and are fun, attentive and kind. The house is beautiful, comfortable and full of history, making the stay very special. They prepare delicious meals with great care, and the work is light and relaxing. The huge garden offers a peaceful space to walk, admire, care for and connect deeply with nature. Being part of this new chapter at the host House has been a real pleasure. I leave grateful and amazed.
