Highly recommend coming to the hostel if you're looking for an incredible volunteer experience. The staff and other volunteers were so kind and welcoming, the work was varied and straightforward, and the location is perfect to explore the area or take trips to surrounding places – Minca, Inca Inca, Tayrona, etc. Every day was filled with a new experience!

I would absolutely recommend the hostel to any volunteer! Eduardo, the other volunteers, and the staff are extremely welcoming; the work is fair and varied; it's a great opportunity to practice your Spanish, etc. Also, the location is central and the hostel itself is beautiful. All around a fantastic experience!

I felt welcomed from the very first moment. The host is very impartial and honest, and all the staff are warm and good people. The place is chill, you really feel at home. I experienced great moments at the beach with other volunteers, and I also had the opportunity to stay at another hostel that República has a partnership with. I love the sea, and the hostel offers many activities in nature. Without a doubt, I will come back.

My first volunteering experience at República Hostel the hostel was incredible and went far beyond my expectations. From the very first day, the staff, volunteers, and even the guests made me feel at home, like part of a family.During my stay I helped with reception, kitchen, and bar duties, always in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. the hostel itself is a paradise, filled with countless outdoor activities to enjoy. I had a great time at the hostel. The Staff was super nice and helpful and I was able to make great friendships with the other volunteers. However, I do recommend knowing some Spanish there because that helped me a lot there. Work was nice and I was able to explore the surroundings of the hostel which was wonderful. I recommend it for sure!
