Stay at the KMCA is a must. I had an amazing time there, the surroundings are breath taking, and I'd have stayed longer if I hadn't have other plans already made. The working hours are ok, and well spread during the day. The tasks are very straight forward, but in any case Sam, and the other guys at the community are more than happy to help. As a cherry on the cake, while there I also got the opportunity to partecipare to the community classes. So, highly recommended indeed!

My experience in Dandenong Range was beautiful, peaceful, and joyful. There are places where you just feel good; this is one of them. The team is great, and other volunteers make the stay so enjoyable. I had a lot of fun working with others, cooking, sharing meals and conversations. Sam has great leadership, and it's always pleasant working with her in the kitchen. We also helped with cleaning, rooms, and other small projects. I'd recommend this to anyone seeking a mindful and slower pace of life, outside of the usual distractions Thank you so much!

Peaceful and insightful stay. The team and regulars at the temple were very welcoming and kind. The position was exactly as described on the app. A beautiful place to slow down, help out, and connect within. Come and experience it for yourself — you won't regret it! 🧘‍♀️

I had a very good time at KMCA. Beautiful garden! Facilities are nice and clean. Lots of time to discover the surrounding. The work was either in the garden, cleaning, or helping out in the kitchen. Sometimes the expectations of management were not completely clear, this could have been avoided by more communication. It's a good spot to learn about the Buddhist lifestyle.

I had the most amazing time in the monastery! The daily chores were surprisingly fun, especially when done with friends. The environment is very social- you get to meet other international volunteers. After the work is done ya'll can join the Dharma talks, which I found incredibly insightful, plus the surrounding area is beautiful for hikes on your days off. So if you're interested in learning a bit about Buddhism and have fun while volunteering, I highly recommend applying for it!
