The help required varies from cooking, gardening, maintenance, cleaning and helping with accommodation. We also have various projects that you could get involved in at particular times.

If you have particular skills we would love to know. Although the work is not always strenuous you will need to be reasonably fit and active to come on a volunteering visit.

In your free time, there are many ways to relax including enjoying the grounds and local tourist sites. You can go for long bush walks in the Dandenong Ranges.

As a volunteer, you are welcome to join any of the evening or weekend meditation classes running.

You are welcome to join us for the daily prayers we hold in our meditation room.

What we have to offer is varied and provides a perfect opportunity to experience the warm and friendly Buddhist way of life first hand.
