A beautiful property! The work is mostly preparing and cleaning up after 3 delicious meals a day with occasional other chores as needed. You get to participate in meditation sessions, learn about permaculture, go into town once per week, and befriend the host's cat and dog :)

Ah! So much goodness in one place. the project is an oasis of incredible flora and fauna… if youre at all curious about Costa Rican native ecosystems — this is the place for you. Guillermo knows such a vast amount about restoring nature to its desired form… and how that integrates into feeling restored as a human being. Between incredible meals with fresh ingredients, to adventures to a cascading waterfall… everything at the project is worthy of experiencing. If youre tempted by solidarity and growth, this is is the place for you.

I discovered this experience while I was traveling in Costa Rica (November 2025) and it was the highlight of my trip. I found the description to be accurate and I felt the task / relaxation balance was a perfect mix for an enjoyable volunteer gig. I especially liked learning new recipes and meeting other cool people during my stay. The host is wonderful and selflessly shares his lifestyle with volunteers and guests. Thank you so much Guillermo!

This place is pure magic. It feels like stepping into another dimension. :) Physically, it is very comfy. Great food (!!), wonderful people, animals and atmosphere, comfy beds, stunning nature, ... We (my friend Annika and me) were taken great care of! But if you are ready, open and willing to grow mentally and spiritually it might be challenging- but nontheless even more wonderful and rewarding! We both found in Guillermo and all the other people (and beings) here the best helpers. If you are interested in finding things you never knew you lost we strongly recommend you to come here. -A&M♡

The project is a magic experience! You will learn about permaculture, building and repairing in the nature and the house and formost this is a place to heal and grow. The surrounding nature (with private waterfall) and the beautiful permaculture garden allow to fully endulge in nature. The wonderful people that live and come here made this volunteering stay a very special and enriching experience for me! I can highly recommend this to everyone who loves nature, good people and is open to grow :)
