Description
We ask for a daily contribution of €8 to help cover food and accommodation. In return, we make sure there’s also time for fun and relaxation—like visiting a nearby waterfall or exploring a charming village. It’s not just about the work, but also about creating great memories together.

The Experience
Looking for a unique volunteer experience? Join our warm, international family in sunny Spain and help enrich the lives of our two boys. We believe in exposing them to different cultures and languages. As a volunteer, you’ll be part of our daily life, engaging with the kids through play, creativity, and fun activities like arts, crafts, storytelling, outdoor adventures, music, and sharing your language and traditions.

This was my first WorldPackers experience and John and Odilia couldn't have been more welcoming. I felt encouraged to contribute to the family living in ways that interested me. I really enjoyed my stay, and the company during my time. I also had a lot of fun playing football on the trampoline with the boys. John and the boys took me out a couple times to see the local area and these trips were absolute highlights for me. The hikes and waterfalls are incredible! I recommend this experience if you're looking to escape the busy world for a bit and experience some off-grid living.

John, Odilia and their boys are really kind people, the first days we got to know each other better but it wasn't weird or anything, it were nice talks, a really good vibe and I felt immediately welcomed. From the first day I truly enjoyed the stay. We had the possibility to find our own routine with what we liked the best. I had heart warming conversations and it kind of felt like home. We got so many good recommendations what we could visit and saw the beauty of the nature around. It is such a beautiful memory of mine and I am grateful I have met so lovely people.

These 2 weeks with you guys were so funny, respectful, relaxing and varied. We had the honour to be part of your family and had still enough privacy and free time to explore the surroundings. John and Odilia are so open minded and so relaxed with the tasks. The two very playful sons have so much energy and it was an honour to spend time with these two on the trampoline, playing football or in the pool. All in all we felt welcomed and had fantastic two weeks off grid! Dank je wel!

Mucho gracias John, Odilia, Ilya, and Eli! From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed. They gave me the space to express myself, even though I don't speak fluent English. Even when I got sick, they took such good care of me and gave me time to recover. The children, Ilya and Eli, are thoughtful, and genuinely kind. Spending time with them, on the trampoline or playing football, was pure joy. I also appreciated being able to do other tasks that I enjoyed and that I could use my strengths. Hasta luego mi amigos! ♥️

John and Odilia have fashioned a lifestyle in the Valencian hills. Their property is an ever-developing space, an exciting project I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to help out with. John is a diamond geezer; funny, knowledgeable and experienced. He has become an excellent friend of mine and is clearly just as effective as a father and husband. Odilia is what can only be described as a wellspring of divine feminity; beautiful inside and out, both welcoming and nurturing. I was truly made to feel like one of the family at the farm and am happy to say I have made friends for life.
