The Experience

Hey dear community! ✨ After the great success of our winter project we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers for the summer season. OK we need housekeeping and cleaning. So bring your headphones, put them on and listen to your best playlist while you take care of the guest rooms and cleaning the common areas of the glamping. Here it's summer, we may have to sweat, but afterwards we enjoy the beautiful beaches of Conil and El Palmar

I can't put in words how greatful I am to have stayed a month at Tranqilo the camping. The people were amazing and I made wonderful connections and friends for life. Every day was different - so from cooking together, napping in the hammocks under the trees, enjoying the beach, moonlight swims at the pool or movie nights made my time unforgettable. The working hours were always respected and I did my tasks for maintanance with pleasure. This place is truly the camping and most of the time i felt like being on vacation, connecting with nature and allowing myself to relax. Thank you for everything❤️

The hosts were super kind and welcoming. Always open to communicate, very clear about the tasks and responsibilities. They also worked with us together as a team. We shared meals in the evenings and got organised many activities while we were there. They were super kind to drop us off to a train station when we wanted to go somewhere and also lend us the car sometime when that was possible. It was a real pleasure volunteering for Tranqilo the camping. I have nothing but good things to say about y whole experience.

The location is beautiful, and I met amazing people among guests and volunteers. However, the organization needs improvement. I applied for a creative role, including teaching yoga, and agreed to help occasionally with cleaning. Instead, I ended up doing only cleaning and maintenance work, and the promised language lessons, a key reason for my application, never happened. I stayed because of the wonderful community, but I urge the host to be more transparent with guests and volunteers to align expectations.

Nuestra experiencia como voluntarios fue excelente. Desde el primer momento, Fran nos recibió con calidez y buena energía. El lugar es un paraíso natural, ideal para quienes buscan tranquilidad. Además, al ser muy visitado por turistas extranjeros, fue una gran oportunidad para mejorar nuestro inglés. Fran nos dejó las condiciones claras y flexibles, siempre respetadas. El ambiente es hermoso, con buena onda y compañerismo. Con Fran compartimos comidas, fogones, salidas nocturnas, trekking y playa. Siempre predispuesto.. Y lo mejor… Fran toma mate! 🧉🤩 ¡¡Gracias por la oportunidad!!
