Welcome to our beautiful countryside home in Kraichtal, a charming region known for its vineyards 🍇 and stunning hiking trails! 🥾 We’re just 40 km away from Heidelberg and Karlsruhe, and 60 km from Stuttgart and Mannheim. Plus, France 🇫🇷 is just a short trip away! We are an open-minded family who loves to cook fresh, mainly vegetarian meals 🌱 using organic ingredients.

I really enjoyed my stay with Steven and Jenny. I stayed in the loft room with a skylight where I could see the starry night every evening. I visited towns near Gochsheim and enjoyed afternoon meals with them, discovering that I like vegan meat and chicken. Jenny and Steven cooked delicious meals. They invited me to a wine tasting event with pizza. The job was quite easy—I did some weeding in the garden and painted the window shutters. They lent me their bike, so every night after their tasty dinners, I went for a ride through the hills and to the hidden lake. I highly recommend this volunteer

Steven and Jenny are a really sweet couple that took care of us during the entire duration of our stay. Even during difficult moments and even though I had to use a lot of my time to prepare for an exam, they gave us a lot of freedom with the work in the garden and had showed a lot of patience for us not being professionals. The food was just dreamy and the house is really beautiful. The region is rural, yes, but things are still very accessible. We were able to order things online and even go to the hospital once. You can rest assured, you will have an amazing time staying with them!

My time volunteering at the home was a one-of-a-kind experience! Steven and Jenny were really committed to the gardening activities, which made my work even more meaningful. I had access to all the tools I needed to do my work as a gardener and was able to learn a lot from them. Also, the family welcomed me with such kindness, patience, and a genuine interest in getting to know me and my motivations. Unforgettable dinners with music, Chica walking around, deep talks, and Jenny's heavenly food made my stay feel like home. the home is a peaceful, cozy place to connect with nature.
