Welcome to our beautiful countryside home in Kraichtal, a charming region known for its vineyards 🍇 and stunning hiking trails! 🥾 We’re just 40 km away from Heidelberg and Karlsruhe, and 60 km from Stuttgart and Mannheim. Plus, France 🇫🇷 is just a short trip away!

We are an open-minded family who loves to cook fresh, mainly vegetarian meals 🌱 using organic ingredients.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate German

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Activities & Shift

Join us in a variety of fun and fulfilling tasks! Here’s what you can look forward to:

Gardening: Help us plant, water, and care for our beautiful garden 🌷. We’re always looking to add new plants and keep the garden blooming all year round. You’ll also assist with weeding, trimming, and harvesting vegetables 🥕.
Repairs & Maintenance: From time to time, our cozy home needs a little fixing 🔧. If you enjoy DIY projects, you’ll help with minor repairs, painting, and other home improvement tasks 🏡.
Planting: Whether it’s adding new flowers to the garden or planting herbs 🌿 and veggies in our vegetable patch, your green thumb will be put to good use! 🌱
