The Experience

Come experience the beauty of Norway while immersing yourself in a sustainable, nature-focused lifestyle. As a volunteer, you'll be helping in our kitchen garden with planting, harvesting, and maintaining the grounds, caring for a small flock of sheep, and working in our orchard and woodland—pruning trees, cutting firewood, and harvesting fruits. You'll also get hands-on experience preserving food for winter, cooking, and keeping the home tidy.

My time on the farm was truly wonderful! I met some really kind people, and the work was enjoyable as well. The nature in Norway is absolutely breathtaking, and there are so many activities to do — I can only recommend going there! The hosts are also very friendly and communicative. However, it's important to stay flexible, as help might be needed on the farm even during your free time.

Olav and Rebecca are often busy and might not always be around, so you'll be able to learn to work independently and take responsibilities. I can recommend this place very much to anyone who loves nature, working outside and the calming quiet of th
