Help us grow organic, raise healthy animals & be self-sufficient!
The experience
Come experience the beauty of Norway while immersing yourself in a sustainable, nature-focused lifestyle. As a volunteer, you'll be helping in our kitchen garden with planting, harvesting, and maintaining the grounds, caring for a small flock of sheep, and working in our orchard and woodland—pruning trees, cutting firewood, and harvesting fruits. You'll also get hands-on experience preserving food for winter, cooking, and keeping the home tidy.

Program Details
We only accept volunteers who are citizens of the EU and/or the Schengen countries. We do not help with visas! We will ask for proof of identity.
We accept couples, people travelling together & lone travellers. We cannot accommodate travellers with children or dogs.
Working alone and with other volunteers, with prior instruction, along with occasional supervision & help from us, is the norm.
Longer stays are best for everyone. Please note that the minimum stay is 4 weeks! This will allow you to settle into the work routines, get to know fellow volunteers, forge friendships and discover the local area. Erasmus candidates are welcome.
We expect punctuality, friendliness, keenness to learn, an excellent work ethic, good communication skills, precision, an ability to work independently and people willing to read ALL information we give.
Activities & Shift
Working days usually start at 0900 and end at about 1630 with an hour for lunch, 1200 - 1300.
The working times will not be fixed in stone. They vary with the seasons and tasks they bring. Sometimes we’ll need your help in the evenings and at weekends. We use a clock-in, clock-out app for time management.
Rules
We’ll ask to have a short video call with you on WhatsApp before confirming your stay.
If this goes well, we will send you a volunteer letter, which you must read and agree to before you arrive.
