The Experience

My goal was it to improve my spanish, to get to know a viarety of diferent tasks, learn about farm-life and relax a bit. And at Lolas place I had everything. It was genuinely such a interesting experience and i can definetly recommend this place! It truly chnages something in me for the better ^^

This was a truly beatiful experience. The place is MAGICAL, Lola is not only a terrific cook but she was a very kind person and I felt there as home. I came with like almost no Spanish and we still managed to communicate well (and Lola was trying to teach me Spanish) The working hours during the hot days (so the summer) is divided into 3 hours in the morning and 3 in the evening, so we didn't have to work during the heat. The whole experience was very fun but especially a real mental rest…just the Wild West - like mountains and a lot of olive trees 😌 Be prepared for the mosquitoes though…🦟

I had a really great time with Lola. She made us feel welcome and always tried to communicate with us even though we had a language barrier. The work was really fun and not too exhausting. I learned new things and got to meet many international travelers. Lola was okay with us being vegan and provided vegan meals for us, which was really great. The accommodation was cozy and gave us privacy if needed. I would really recommend going to the farm if you want to spend time in nature and if you want to meet new people.

I really enjoyed staying with Lola :) She was really nice and welcoming. The tasks were fun and the working hours were perfect. The accommodation was cozy and calm. The food was really good but we were also able to cook for ourselves. We had the chance to meet a lot of very nice travelers who made our stay much more enjoyable as well. We had at least five oranges each day and I already miss them! I would really recommend staying with lola in her peaceful piece of paradise.

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I am very glad I did it. I learned a lot about Spanish culture and ecological farming. Even though my Spanish wasn't the best, Lola and her daughter tried to explain everything to me – several times if needed. She was very welcoming overall. I also connected with other volunteers, which was fun. However, working outside was sometimes a bit exhausting – especially because of the high temperatures in July! Overall, it was a very interesting experience. Thank you! :)
