The Experience

We are a working agrotourism olive farm with several separate apartments. We are open to any type of traveller, single or couples. Although no skills are required being in good health and physical condition is a given. if you have a particular skill set building, joinery or landscape gardening this would be a bonus. At the very least you should be strong enough to be able to operate a petrol strimmer for a few hours a day.

My time in Orvieto was amazing, I have absolutely no faults & enjoyed my time with Jack (my fave furry friend), Jo & Tony & the other awesome volunteers. Jo & Tony were so kind, a big thank you to them! Not only do you get to soak up the incredible Umbrian landscapes & immerse yourself in the countryside, but you are also not so far from being able to discover beautiful medieval cities nearby. I genuinely had so much fun with the work & was so happy to learn new skills I had never done before & can confidently say I am now a chicken coop build expert ;) Can't wait to come back soon! xx

Simply perfect, Tony and Jo are wonderful and attentive people, they always care about our well-being and if we need something, I asked Tony if I could make a lasagna and he made it for the volunteers, I will come back again for sure, they are super understanding and encourage you to learn more British English.

The hosts Jo and Tony are super nice and welcoming, you become part of their family. And they are also super clear about the work and how to do it. The work was also fun because it varied so much and you learnt new things almost every day. And after we where done working we all sat down together hade some of Tonys amazing food for lunch:) I would recomen this experience if you want to live on the countryside, learn about and do physical jobs like painting, chopping wood or clean for example. Their property is super beautiful just like the surroundings, great for taking scenic walks.

The volunteering experience was very lovely, and I shared it with my partner. The hosts were very kind and made us feel comfortable from the very first day. Tony is a great cook, and there was always a good vibe during meals. We had a lot of fun harvesting olives with an amazing group — it was enjoyable work in a beautiful setting. The accommodation was comfortable and peaceful, perfect for resting. Overall, it was a positive experience that we'll remember fondly.
