The Experience

Our hostel is located in Huaraz, Peru, a few blocks from the central plaza. We have a travel agency on the first floor where guests can book tours to many of the desirable destinations in the region. We always can use an extra set (or two) of hands around the hostel. The tasks are varied but center around helping prepare breakfast and serving guests in the morning, and helping with reception and reserving tours in the afternoon.

We really enjoyed our stay with Ivan and Maria, so much that we extended our stay as long as we could (my 90 days are up and I have to leave Peru). The tasks are simple and straightforward, breakfast in the morning and reception in the afternoon/evening, with help always being in the room next door (breakfast) or a phone call away (reception). We really began to feel like family during our stay and loved the opportunity that it gave us to dive deep into Huaraz, live like locals. If you have any questions about the experience, please feel free to message me and I'll get back to you ASAP!
