Come help Our Hostel and adventure travel agency !Enjoy Huaraz!
The experience
Our hostel is located in Huaraz, Peru, a few blocks from the central plaza. We have a travel agency on the first floor where guests can book tours to many of the desirable destinations in the region.
We always can use an extra set (or two) of hands around the hostel. The tasks are varied but center around helping prepare breakfast and serving guests in the morning, and helping with reception and reserving tours in the afternoon.

Activities & Shift
The shifts on the days you will be working will be from 7:00AM-9:00AM (serving breakfast) and from 3:00PM-6:00PM (reception of guests and customer service for the travel agency). Sometimes we will need a little extra help and that's why it works out to 30 hours per week. Your days off will probably fall in the middle of the week.
In the morning, you will be working as a kitchen hand; you may be asked to work alone one day of the week when our staff has the day off. Our breakfast rotates, with coffee/tea/juice and bread with butter/jelly available daily.
In the afternoon, you will be welcoming guests and performing check-in/assigning rooms. You will also be helping answer questions about tours/activities available through the travel agency. No prior knowledge of the tourism of the area is necessary; I'll always be available if there's a question you can't answer.
Rules
We ask that you are on time for your scheduled shifts, do your best, and that you behave as a respectful guest while on the premises.
We also encourage you to take advantage of the tourism oportunities available on your free days; it will help you get to iknow Huaraz and will make answering questions easier as well!
