It was a fabulous experience with the children, always motivated to learn English. The centre is just great, children can do permaculture, play sports all that while having contact with animals it is really a great centre where children are always happy to come. Thank you Made and his wife for this wonderful experience 🙏🏻

The project has an amazing view on what is important for the children in their community. Made and Ayu are extremely welcoming and grateful towards anyone offering support. The children love to learn English for two hours a day and besides that there are many permaculture projects that could be taken on on their establishment. It's a beautiful mix of supporting children and those with special needs and nature. There is tons of potential there but just too little time and hands. You'll love it if you're skilled in teaching, gardening, animal care or sustainable construction!

The host, Made, together with his wife, Ayu, and baby, Amy, made me feel welcome from day one. Initially I came to teach local (special needs) children basic English. It was clear the children were eager to learn and were not scared to interact with me. What also became apparent is that the host had many side projectst that required help and new insights. The host, Made, is ambitious and wants to expand on the permaculture garden, volunteer lodge, animal habitats and more. Although 4 days of volunteering was too short, to help on all projects. He welcomes all ideas and input.

The time at the project was absolutely lovely. I can tell Madek and his wife Ayu who runs the school are amazing people and try with their whole heart to create the best atmosphere for children to learn. I like their philosophy a lot, which I find has great potential. It's combining nature with studying. I extended my stay to 3 weeks and was super sad to leave the children. If you like to stay somewhere calm and in nature between the rice fields then this is the place for you. The guesthouse is not finish yet so you gotta stay in beautiful Puri Saron Madangan Resort.

Amazing, kind, gentle, caring and honest people. The children were happy and engaged in learning, loved my time with them. The hosts are truly the best, Thankyou for sharing your passion to teach English to local children with me. Accomodation is not supplied yet and the close hotel is 250000 per week. (Online cheaper sometimes) Lovely private room in the heart of a beautiful jungle, with air con, swimming pool and room service. I highly recommend
