The Experience

We always need help with our daily life. The main sector where we need help is feeding and taking care of animals : mostly feeding pigs, preparing feed, but also feeding chicken, rabbits, sheep etc. Pigs get fed twice a day (morning and evening) the rest just once a day. Also, we have plenty of renovation work or in spring/summer gardening work to do.

Anna and Leo were very kind to me. The work they gave me was easy and never stressful. Their family is warm and lovely. They also have a lot of knowledge about tourist attractions, which really helps when deciding which ones are worth visiting. P.S.: I absolutely adored Paula

A huuuge thank you to Anna and Leo for this incredibly wonderful experience!!! I can't find the right words to express my gratitude and love to this family! I stayed for one month. The tasks were really enjoyable, mostly cleaning, dealing with the dishes and laundry + some gardening. I liked doing all of that! As I am a digital nomad, Anna and Leo gave me all the comfort to work remotely. At the same time, I had plenty of time to explore beautiful Austria ⛰️ I also had a chance to practice some German with Jakob, Johannes and little Paula:) Hope to see you all again 🥹❤️

Leo and Anna were very welcoming to me.They picked me up from the train station and dropped me off as agreed.Work was very easy, and never took more than 3 hours a day.Their farm and the every day routine of it is very lovely.I wouldn't forget the night talks with a beer, and all the interesting discussions.Despite me not knowing German I was able to play with their oldest son Yacob and talk to Anna's mother. The farm location is only 15 min walk from the train station, and it has a magical look at the Alps. For anyone planning to visit Halstatt it is also not far by train.
