The Experience

We are looking for someone who is living as a part of the family with us. It would be cool if you can speak a little bit German, so it's easier for the kids ;-) If not, we are happy if you can help me (Anna) in the house - trying to keep it cleanish :-D doing some laundry, but also help me to prepare food and all the things a farm girl needs to do when the guys are out on the tractor :-D

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and was the best I could have asked for! I really enjoyed my stay here and had such a great time getting to know Anna, Leo, and the kids. They are such welcoming and kind people, down to earth, family oriented, connected to nature and the farm. The work is not too difficult, and they are very flexible with what tasks you can do. I usually helped feed animals in the morning, and did other tasks in the afternoon around the farm. They also gave me great recommendations for places to visit in my free time :) Loved my time here and definitely recommend it!

This experience was everything we could've expected and wanted, and more! Anna and Leo are some of the most down to earth people we've ever met and we're so grateful for them. Anna is an incredible chef, and Leo is very knowledgeable about his industry and its great to see how they live their lives and raise their kids. Jakob, Johannes and Paula always made us laugh and they are very lovely kids. The chores are very simple and easy. We would work a few hours in the mornings feeding the animals, and would do some other tasks in the afternoon - nothing difficult or taxing.

Living on the farm with Anna, Leo, and the kids was wonderful. They were very welcoming and easy-going. The work is exactly as listed and very fair. They encourage you to take your days off on sunny days and are very accommodating. Anna is a great cook, and it was so cool experiencing true farm-to-table food and how the farming community works together. This was my boyfriend and my first worldpackers experience, and it was exactly what we wanted. Would definitely recommend this experience!!

I had a wonderful experience with this family. They live a simple and inspiring life, dedicated to nature, farming, and raising their children with love. They enjoy spending time with the kids and made me feel truly welcome. The food is great, and the peaceful surroundings are beautiful. I learned a lot from their lifestyle and strong sense of family. I highly recommend them!

We spent two months with this lovely family. They welcomed us warmly, the food was great, and we learned a lot about animal care. They lent us bikes, and since there's a train station just 15 minutes away on foot, we could easily explore the area. It was a rich and complete experience. I totally recommend this opportunity to other volunteers who want to connect with nature, learn new things, and share time with a charming and generous family.
