The Experience

Imagine staying in a serene spot in Portugal, surrounded by nature, where your creativity and hands-on skills will shape the space for future volunteers. This is about being part of a journey to transform a raw piece of land into a welcoming haven. We have electricity but we fetch water from a fountain 500m away You'll start with a tent, we’ll work together to decide the next steps. Your ideas and energy will be at the heart of this project!

Tânia is such a kind and generous person. Staying with her was absolutely amazing and I felt welcomed at every turn. It was like I was taken in by her and her family for the two weeks I was there, and I loved every moment of it. I was able to learn some Portuguese and about the culture as she gave information about different places we saw. She was always respectful of my time and space. The work was very fair and fit the description she provided. The grove is a beautiful plave to set up a hammock and chill for a bit. I can't wait to go back again and see Tânia, her family, and the grove again!
