Camping in the Pine Trees, Portugal 🌲

The experience

Imagine staying in a serene spot in Portugal, surrounded by nature, where your creativity and hands-on skills will shape the space for future volunteers.
This is about being part of a journey to transform a raw piece of land into a welcoming haven. We have electricity but we fetch water from a fountain 500m away

You'll start with a tent, we’ll work together to decide the next steps.

What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

3 days off per week

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner Portuguese

Between 27 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

You will be volunteering to make your stay site a better place to welcome volunteers. You will start with a 150cm x 200cm tent that I will provide.

From there, you will help decide what’s next: an off-the-grid shower? An individual dry toilet? I need your help and creativity to determine the next steps.
