My experience in Southern the hotel Resort was awesome. The host was very open to new ideas for social media and let us be creative for the bar and resort social media. We had to create reels and posts on daily basis and was really fun and chill. The meals were amazing and the staff was also very welcoming. Couldn't recommend more this place!

I taught yoga at the hotel for two weeks. I very much enjoyed getting to know the guests and teaching people from all over the world. They have two spaces for class, the beach and an outdoor bungalow area for class which was very nice to teach in. As far as accommodation the rooms were not the nicest. No hot water or properly flushing toilet. The food situation was less than ideal and not very good most days. However, the staff are kind and friendly but there is a bit of a language barrier at times. Overall this is a nice place to teach and a good team of people to work with.

I worked with social media management and it was amazing. I had a private room and free time every day. I just needed to perform my duties online. I had time to explore the island a lot and make new friends. The only point to improve would be to reduce the use of chilli in volunteers' meals. This part was difficult to adapt. But other than that, I loved my first experience with WorldPackers!

My three weeks at the hotel were perfect! I had a private room and received two meals a day, just as promised. Teaching yoga twice a day was the ideal amount of work — it allowed me to meet guests from all around the world while still having plenty of free time to go to the beach or explore the island. All the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. The area of the hotel resort is, in one word, beautiful. I would definitely recommend it to everyone, not only as a volunteer but also as a regular guest.

My stay at the hotel was straightforward and very manageable! Everything promised was delivered and because it is a formal resort the environment is a change of pace as a traveler but I was mostly free to explore the island and had most time to myself :) Jan was a great host and would definitely recommend this experience to travelers as well!
