Description

Volunteers contribute 57mil per day to cover three meals at our restaurant and a bed in our dorm (normally ~160mil/day). The fee also covers the organic agricultural workshops (6 hours during the 15 hour work week), weekly salsa class, and weekly yoga class.

The Experience

You'll learn about making compost, fertilizers, and much more with our "profe" of organic agriculture who comes once or twice a week to work with you (when available). You'll also be able to assist weekly yoga classes, salsa classes, and other events at the eco-lodge! The program is designed to be two weeks, where you will learn the basics to set up a home garden or get some more knowledge about organic farming and permaculture techniques.

I was supposed to stayed only one week but extended my stay for two more days because it really was wonderful. The work is super easy and amazing to be outside in contact with nature. 10/10 for the food 😍

I was only here for one week but I wish I'd stayed longer!! It was such a great place to volunteer and the work on the game was so varied and interesting. Also a great place to learn and practice Spanish as the lessons are great. The farm is beautiful and lovely to be able to swim in the nearby river to cool off after working in the morning. Lots of activities organised around the farming but also lots of time to relax. Great value and I would really recommend!!

I've spent two weeks volunteering at the lodge and I really enjoyed my stay. The permaculture courses were super interesting. They were only in spanish tho, but everyone was super nice and spoke „despacio“ and the other volunteers helped me translate when needed :) The hours are exactly as written online and they provide three delicious meals. A big thank you to dani& cami for making me feel super welcome in such a beautiful place. After work you have plenty of time to swim in the river, chill in a hammock, join activities like salsa, yoga or make your own chocolate. Would recommend!!!

Mi paso por el alojamiento fue hermoso :) Es muy fácil generar comunidad entre compañeras/os, todo el equipo está pendiente de que se pase una estadía armoniosa, se come delicioso, variado y se adaptan a tu tipo de alimentación. Además, se está rodeado de naturaleza, se aprende muchisimo de permacultura y del cuidado de la tierra. Todo ha sido maravilloso, estoy muy agradecida y feliz de haber elegido este lugar, definitivamente lo recomiendo. Mención especial a Dani, super atenta y amorosa. ¡Gracias! <3
