I had a great 2 week volunteer experience at the school and was sorry to leave. I was treated wonderfully by Mr Andre and his administrative staff, especially Miss Orin, who ensured everything ran smoothly. The teaching staff were all friendly, dedicated and very supportive. All of the students were excited to have a native English speaker and were enthusiastic, eager to learn and were a privilege to teach. Nothing was too much for the school team and everyone ensured my stay in Pare was comfortable, enjoyable and a delight. I would recommend this opportunity to all Worldpackers.

To Mr Emanuel
He is an innovative and creative person. It's very clear to me that he enjoys solving problems in different ways and using his creativity to develop new ideas. It's great seeing him use his creativity and innovation to perform well in school.

He is an inspiration. Despite any struggles he has endured each day. He came to class with a smile on his face and a willingness to learn and improve.
Thank you very much.

I had an incredible three weeks volunteering here! From the moment I arrived, everyone was so welcoming and made me feel part of their community. I taught in an international class and joined holiday classes as a guest teacher, both of which were great experiences. Everything was well-organized, even if sometimes a bit last-minute. Outside of teaching, we explored local markets, went on hikes and even tried making batik. If you want to connect with locals, experience Indonesian life, teach, and enjoy amazing food, I highly recommend this opportunity!

The experience at the school has been more than rewarding. At first I didn't know what to expect as I was only their second volunteer, but I quickly became part of the international class and helped them with their online presence. The people at the Academy are extremely friendly and make your stay very easy and enjoyable. I encourage you to join this experience and work with the school team because it is an amazing way to deep dive into the Indonesian culture, food, way of life and idiosyncrasy. Thank you Mr. Andre, Muti, Vera, Orin, Alfi and all the people who make my experience a great one. 🌺

I had an amazing experience with the program! My original plan was to stay for 1 month and I ended up extending and staying for a month and a week. The entire team gave me the necessary support, the hours were respected, and my room was wonderfully comfortable, so I was able to rest very well during my free time. The locals welcomed me from the first moment, and Pare will always be remembered as the first city I visited in Indonesia, so I'm sure I'll never forget this experience 🤍 If you're looking to immerse yourself in the local culture, this is perfect!
