My experience as a volunteer at the hostel was superb. Maíra (host), Tania (manager), Ju and Lady (volunteers) were welcoming from the 1st day. It felt like home pretty fast. We used to share meals and have interesting conversation all the time. The working hours for cleaners is superb: 1h + 2h/day/6 days a week. They have all the cleaning material needed and have a good schedule organized. To go to the nearby beaches we either had to walk for some 20 minutes, or catch a ride for farther ones. In Serra Grande, the locals are very generous with hitchhikers.

O hostel me fez sentir em casa desde o primeiro dia. Maira, Chris e Helen já são parte da minha família, e eu não vejo a hora de estarmos juntos novamente. Serra Grande é um verdadeiro paraíso na Terra, as praias mais lindas que já vi na vida e viver tudo isso ao lado de amigos tornou a experiência ainda mais especial. As meninas são sensacionais, sempre dispostas a ajudar, parceiras de verdade, seja no dia a dia ou até dando aquela carona pro samba em Itacaré. Hoje posso dizer com tranquilidade que tenho uma família e um lar para voltar sempre que quiser em Serra Grande. Gratidão o hostel 💛

O hostel se tornou mais que uma experiência de voluntariado, esta foi minha quarta temporada em Serra Grande, e cada uma foi diferente da outra, exceto pela proposta das meninas, mais que um hostel, o hostel é família, comunidade, onde quem chega e vibra na mesma sintonia tem um lugar pra chamar de seu. Escohi passar as Festas de fim de Ano por lá e posso afirmar que foi o melhor Natal dos últimos anos. Se você busca estar entre amigos, se sentir parte de uma tribo então essa experiência é pra você, temos um espaço todinho nosso, para staff e voluntários. Todo meu amor e gratidão á Chris e Maíra
