I had a great stay at the ecovillage. I met some very nice, funny people and we were able to speak a little English and a little Italian. The place is in the middle of the mountains, which is very relaxing, especially with the animals: dogs, goats, cats... Thank you for the experience :)

I had a great time with Serena and all the members of the eco-village!! They are great, live in a very beautiful place and it's a pleasure to work with them! Thank you for welcoming me and introducing me to life in an ecovillage :)

My experience was OK, I honestly wouldn't recommend it if you don't speak italian as you won't be able to communicate with most of the people living there. Also there wasn't much organization at all and the tasks were all over the placeas well as the times. I have to say that the place is really pretty and great for connecting with nature. Also even though I didn't get to know a lot about them the people there were really nice and welcoming.

other people who didn't speak Italian have been here but we have established a great relationship with each one.
I would recommend you to at least try to talk to someone in the future. We have very precise weekly work tables, but we don't like need to ask for help, usually the help is offered to us.
when you were assigned an afternoon task, we had to wake u up at 6:30 pm.. it is really unpleasant for us. But you are young and nice, we are sure that with experience u will do better! Good luck!

This was my first Worldpackers's experience and it couldn't have been better! Serena and her big family at the Ecovillage treated me as a part of the family since day one, always making me feel at home and teaching me new things. I learned so much about nature, animals, living a sustainable life and it really opened my eyes on the value human connection has over so many unnecessary things society has convinced us make our lives better. At the “the eco village” they live freely, they share everything, community is the hub of their lives, and I'm so grateful I got a chance to be a part of it :)

Staying at the eco village was a wonderful experience. being in contact with nature all day makes you feel at peace with the universe. Serena and her large family are committed daily to a project for environmental sustainability and complete self-production, a beautiful and courageous mission nowadays. it was nice to be with them, I learned a lot and they made me feel at home. go and enjoy nature, the animals, the vegetable garden, and above all their tuesdays!
