The Ecovillagio was an incredibly pleasant place that made me feel like I was part of an Italian family. It was amazing to be fed (and be able to cook myself!) some of the most delicious homemade meals I've ever had. I deeply appreciated the trust that was placed on me to work on my own schedule and at my own time, so I would only recommend applying if you enjoy that freedom. I found it really interesting to see how the ecovillage flows by organizing tasks and having systems in place. There are some really sweet dogs and some really sweet humans too haha :) Thank you Serena and sending love <3

My experience in Anticio the eco village was amazing, since my first day, each of everyone teat to me like one more there, everyone try to teach me something about the job, maybe with the vegetable garden, or with the animals or whatever; I also tried to learn italian, which was so gratefully, specially because of Manu, which speaks Spanish, and was able to teach me a lot, and now i can tell simples phrases in italian. Gracie mille, arrivederci!!🫶

I had a fantastic time during my week at the eco village, and i feel that i truly experienced the italian life here. although i don't speak much italian, i felt the love and good energy from everyone always. the work was simple and a good time to bond with members of the community, and the meals we enjoyed together were so incredible—i'll be missing that back in america. thank you for showing me the beauty of italy, i hope to return someday :) grazie mille, ciao ciao!!!!

600c won't be enough to say all the good things about the eco village. I felt at home. I'll leave knowing that I have a family here and I will carry them in my heart forever ❤️ Everyday was a new challenge that gave me a purpose for life. I recommend this experience for everyone especially for those who speaks Italian otherwise, they'll do their best to communicate with you knowing that their life is quite busy and running an Ecovillage is a challenge by itself so it's also a fulltime experience where you'll immerse yourself so you can get along with their energy. I wish you the best, Sarah ❤️

I had a great stay at the ecovillage. I met some very nice, funny people and we were able to speak a little English and a little Italian. The place is in the middle of the mountains, which is very relaxing, especially with the animals: dogs, goats, cats... Thank you for the experience :)

I spent 9 days at the eco village and had a wonderful experience. It's ideal for travelers who don't mind sharing space and enjoy a variety of activities, some physically demanding. The group is respectful and full of fascinating stories. The food is excellent, and the surrounding nature is beautiful. Better organization, clearer communication, and more social opportunities would enhance the experience, but I still formed meaningful connections with fellow volunteers. Thank you guys! :)

The house is beautifully located on a hill surrounded by nature, the food was delicious and fresh, the animals adorable, and the people very kind. The work was varied and enjoyable, especially cooking with fresh products. However, clearer communication would have helped—for example, explaining the weekly schedule, showing the common spaces, and clarifying work and rest times. Sometimes I felt I had to guess things on my own. I also believe speaking some Italian is important, as not everyone speaks English and it makes it easier to connect with people. Thank you all for this experience!

Had a great time in the eco village. Serena and the folks were very friendly and welcoming, the food was great and delicious. Only point of criticism was that communication with non-Italian speakers needs to be improved since some tasks can be accidentally done wrong if not explained correctly. Thankfully the hosts are aware of this and are working to improve it. Otherwise the experience was very delightful, highly recommended to volunteers who want to experience life on the land and indulge in the local italian culture.

My experience was OK, I honestly wouldn't recommend it if you don't speak italian as you won't be able to communicate with most of the people living there. Also there wasn't much organization at all and the tasks were all over the placeas well as the times. I have to say that the place is really pretty and great for connecting with nature. Also even though I didn't get to know a lot about them the people there were really nice and welcoming.

other people who didn't speak Italian have been here but we have established a great relationship with each one.
I would recommend you to at least try to talk to someone in the future. We have very precise weekly work tables, but we don't like need to ask for help, usually the help is offered to us.
when you were assigned an afternoon task, we had to wake u up at 6:30 pm.. it is really unpleasant for us. But you are young and nice, we are sure that with experience u will do better! Good luck!
