The Experience
We have a French restaurant called LE BDM, famous in the Samana region, we work with a Dominican team but during the high season we want to try to collaborate with volunteers and offer the opportunity to know our small village, Las Galeras. You will help us for evening service. You will be able to discover our beaches, hikes, and meet the people of the village.

- Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Las Galeras is the best place if you love the island lifestyle, Sabine and Elena only ask for few hours of work so you have plenty of time to discover all the beaches surrounding the area. Of course during your rest day you can travel a little bit far away or go to see the beautiful whales 🐋 What else? Elena and Sabine are very funny and friendly, they provide for you just the perfect amount of money so you can buy your own food and be very independent about what you eat, and THE MUST is that you have your own studio/appartment, when you are a volunteer is so rare full🥹 Thank you girls 🥹🫶❤️

I am currently having an awesome experience at the the hotel, the hosts are very friendly and caring. Everything is respected from A-Z to say the least. The place feels like a family, there is a lot of different people from all around the world so you will learn new languages for sure and open yourself to new perspectives and opportunities. I highly recommend for everyone looking for unforgettable experiences and discoveries.
