The experience

We have a French restaurant called LE BDM, famous in the Samana region, we work with a Dominican team but during the high season we want to try to collaborate with volunteers and offer the opportunity to know our small village, Las Galeras. You will help us for evening service. You will be able to discover our beaches, hikes, and meet the people of the village.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish or Intermediate French

Between 20 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Dominican Republic

Travel insurance

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We live there and we can share our experiences, our languages, our cultures together.
We are a couple of women, and respect is one of our priorities, in both directions.

Activities & Shift

We need help for the evening service at the restaurant . Apart from that, you can meet the people of the village, play volleyball, play petanque, enjoy the beaches, and life in Las Galeras

Rules

We have two adorable dogs, so someone who loves animals, it's a hotel so hours must be respected for the calm of customers, and that's it.
The village is an eccentricity, and far from everything but with the necessary shops
