The Experience
The main tasks we need is housekeeping duties, preparing a yummy breakfast for our guests and keep tidy the rooftop common areas tidy. Shifts can be 5 days x 4 hours in the morning or divided between morning and evening when we organize events for guests. Our hostel is new, social and relaxed vibes, right in the heart of the city. We like bringing life to the hostel and always keeping a great atmosphere so we need your help with this too.

Volunteering at the hostel was one of the best experiences I've had. The place is super cozy, with a great atmosphere, and the owners — along with Rob — were incredibly kind and welcoming. I loved meeting people from different countries and enjoyed the beautiful city, its landscapes, and delicious food. I would 100% recommend this hostel, whether for volunteering or just a great stay.

I 100% recommend the hostel. I had a great time there, and since there weren't many guests during the winter season, I even had a private room throughout my stay. The tasks were simple: cleaning the common areas, preparing breakfast when working the first shift, and being in charge of the reception. The atmosphere was fantastic—thank you to Marsi, Elli, and Rob! And Shkoder is truly a city worth visiting if you're traveling through Albania :)

I absolutely recommend this volunteer! All the owners are very lovely, and Robert will make you feel at home with some Rakia! The work was easy sometimes, not always, but that's normal :) you normally do reception, housekeeping or cleaning. The work is fun and you have freedom to do whatever you want. Just make a good job and enjoy the hostel's vibe. The location is also perfect, and Shkoder is such a beautiful city! Very safe place, and they provide some tours :) thank you so much, I'll miss this place!

Loved my month in Shkoder and would highly recommend it to anyone! The owners and other staff are wonderful people and made me feel so welcome and comfortable from day one. The hostel is beautiful and it's a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The work is straightforward and enjoyable, you'll meet so many people and make great memories. Shkoder is a cute town with lots to do, especially if you love hiking. Such a heartwarming experience and introduction to Albania, I miss it already and can't wait to come back one day ❤️ thank you guys !
