This experience with Hamza was truly one of a kind. He was super welcoming and hospitable, and I learned so much about Moroccan culture because of him. He was very communicative, and I was rarely not informed about what was happening next. I appreciate all he has done for me, and I look forward to coming back in the future. I highly recommend staying at Dar Nomad to anyone looking to experience an authentic Moroccan the hostel.

I had a good time during my 8-day stay at Dar Nomad. The experience gave me an authentic insight into the simple Moroccan way of life. I helped by making mud bricks, feeding animals, and assisting Fatima in the kitchen. The work was not too difficult and felt very self-motivated. The people were incredibly kind and always made an effort to make me feel welcome. However, it's important to note that costs for water, tuk-tuk rides, and excursions are extra. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and i recommend this project for everyone looking for a genuine cultural experience.

That was a great experience for my first volunteer! The hosts were respectful of working hours and days off, work wasn't difficult as everyone worked together and the food was healthy and delicious! Everything was very simple but very beautiful. A friendly atmosphere with a lots of happiness! I loved the most the visit to the desert, which is optional if you want to go and costs 100€, was great to learn about the hostel culture! It's good to know that you need to pay for your clean water and taxi. The bathroom and shower are old-fashioned haha so go prepared! Thanks to all it was amazing!

We loved Dar Nomad, great people, welcoming, fun, love to play music and sing. We will miss everyone we met there! It is run by all guys and the guesthouse is very basic with no running water, but you embrace the bucket showers and handwashing clothes. You can walk into town to go to the market and they run tours that you can pay for, like a desert tour, a trip into the mountains, and a nomadic berber camp. Food is great and they have a wood fired oven to cook pizza. The work isn't hard and is short hours in the morning. We plastered a mud wall, made mud bricks, and cooked couscous. SHKRAN!!!

The worst experience of my life! Avoid this host at all costs. Hamza is immature, unreliable, and completely unprofessional. I traveled far to volunteer at his guesthouse, PAYING to work, only to be kicked out for no reason. He misheard a conversation in a language he doesn't even understand and refused to listen. Ultimately, I realized he kicked me out because I refused to pay €100 for his desert tour. When I told him I found a cheaper option, he lost control, screamed at me, and ordered me to leave. Another guest was expelled too! This man should NOT be allowed on this platform!

Hamza replied

I'm very sorry to hear that you felt this way, but this account does not reflect the truth. We always treat our guests with respect and ask for the same in return. Unfortunately, we had to make the decision to leave due to inappropriate and disruptive behavior that affected the overall atmosphere of the place. We respect everyone's freedom to choose the services that suit them, but we do not accept false accusations or unjustified defamation. We wish you the best in your future travels.
