My time here was a great experience overall! Mr Thien is a lovely and very knowledgeable person, and a brilliant guide to the local area. He was helpful and kind in helping me book train tickets! Although I didn't do as much teaching as I would have liked, Mr Thien is working on providing more external opportunities for volunteers, so I would definitely recommend you come. All the students you meet are endearing, even if their English is lacking! Also, if you like Pickleball- look no further, Mr Thien is a great teammate! Whilst I was there I also got to meet some of Mr Thien's family too 🤍

This was my first volunteering experience and it was great!! Mr Thien is a super kind and caring person, he helped me with everything I needed, including booking bus and train tickets for me. He prepared activities with the students to historical sites and dinners with his family, he also took me to dinner to the nearest town and provided excellent accommodation, less than 100 metres from the the school. I would highly recommend this opportunity if you want to connect with local rural life and the the school students.
