The Experience
Precisamos de alguém para manter a limpeza da nossa casa: espaços comuns: uma varanda, uma sala, uma recepção, uma cozinha e dois banheiros compartilhados, dois quartos compartilhados e três suíte privativos, e eventualmente nosso pequeno apartamento (flat) que fica nas proximidades. O voluntariado acontece no horário da manhã das 8h às 13h ou das 9h às 14h. Em troca você ganha, além da hospedagem, café da manhã e almoço vegetariano!

I can't pretend my time there was perfect but it was definitely close to it. I feel like i found a home and a family in Salvador. Its a safe heaven for lgbtq+ people! The space is also very clean and with many assets, the work schedule is great and relatively flexible.

My experience in the hostel was unfortunately cut short because I had some personal responsibilities to take care of and therefore I did not spend a lot of time there. The time I did spend there was really nice, the work fairly easy and the whole team very welcoming. I wish I could have spend more time with them because the whole team is so nice and everyone tried to make me feel welcome and I would have loved to get to know them better and learn some more Portugese. We had a really nice time here. The work schedule was really flexible for us as we were painting walls. Every volunteer was really nice and the place was clean and nice too, inspiring. We met really interesting people from all around the world. The hostel is right next to the beach too, so the location and also the time we spent there was really nice. Thank you! :)
